Coming from a military family we moved a lot. The one thing that remained constant was family. Growing up we always had a dog. Never have they been just a pet, they were our family. In everything we did, our dog would be included. I have always shown a love for animals from a small age. Aspiring to work with animals and helping others has continuously been something I have wanted to do. In the past I have worked in the Mental Health field. I loved working with people and it proved to be rewarding and challenging. But at the end of the day, I would still find myself yearning for more. When the idea to become part of the Dog Wizard family was offered to me, I shrugged it off thinking it would be an unrealistic endeavor for me. I found my thoughts to be gravitating towards dog training, catching myself day dreaming about the possibilities of combining my passions to help both dogs and people. By obtaining my dreams, I am able to help people have a better relationship with their dog, and that’s the best of both worlds!
